Love was in the summer air at Megan and Josh’s wedding in Canmore, and family and friends were delighted to witness their special day, after not one, but two postponements due to the pandemic.
The intimate ceremony was held at Bow Valley Vista at the Canmore Nordic Centre, with the beautiful Rocky Mountains as the perfect backdrop for their vows on this warm summer’s day. The bride and groom’s pup also made an appearance, who was very excited about the whole affair! After the beautiful ceremony officiated by Patrick Smiley, the couple and their guests made their way to Canmore’s Silvertip Resort. Patio cocktails were enjoyed out in the sun, and during drinks and snacks, everyone was welcome to say some words about the newlyweds. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, as the support poured out from friends and family who had nothing but love for Megan and Josh. The tasty dinner that followed was served on a singular long table decorated with soft white florals and greenery, as well as pink fairy floss cleverly displayed in cocktail glasses. The cake and desserts created by Kake by Darci looked delicious, and perfectly matched with the touches of pink featured throughout the wedding aesthetic. The day was perfect, and truly embodied what a marriage is and why I love having the opportunity to be a part of a couple’s wedding day!
