There is something magical about an outdoor wedding where nature does most of the decorating. For Shannon and Mike, that magic came to life at Calgary’s historic Deane House. Nestled in the heart of Inglewood, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with lush garden views, timeless elegance, and a whole lot of love.
Shannon and Mike’s ceremony took place in the vibrant gardens of the Deane House’s East Lawn. Under a soft, overcast sky – which created the most flawless, flattering light a photographer could ask for – the couple stood before a white trellis overflowing with climbing greenery and a stunning, colorful floral installment. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the couple exchanged vows, held hands, and shared a beautiful look at the future ahead of them.
After the ceremony and a stroll through the property’s stunning pathways for portraits, guests moved to the beautifully styled reception tent. The couple chose a design that was both rustic and incredibly refined. Long, dark wood harvest tables stretched across the space, creating an inviting, family-style atmosphere.
