Surrounded by trees and tucked away just outside of Calgary, Sugar Pine Island was the perfect setting for Jess and Scott’s wedding celebration that felt romantic, welcoming and completely their own. From the outdoor ceremony to a beautifully designed reception, every part of the day came together with that easy, joyful feeling we always want our couples to experience.
Jess and Scott exchanged vows in the venue’s outdoor space, surrounded by trees on a beautiful fall day. One of our favourite things about this venue is how removed it feels from the city while still being so close to Calgary. The outdoor ceremony space feels intimate and secluded, allowing the landscape to do so much of the work.
When it came time for the reception, Jess and Scott wanted some personalized touches – such as some country western details, disco balls, and a custom photo backdrop wall!
